About Crystal

Crystal was born in Vietnam and immigrated to the United States with her parents when she was four years old. She was raised in the county of Honolulu, Hawaii on the island of Oahu, and still lives there with her husband, their son, and their three adorable critter friends (a dog, a cat and a parrot).

When Crystal was in middle school she discovered slash fan fiction on the internet. Around this time she also realized that she was bisexual. She spent the rest of her teens and most of her twenties writing fan fiction for various fandoms, including Harry Potter, The Prince of Tennis, and Yowamushi Pedal.

Among Crystal’s favorite things to do are, in no particular order:

• Reading romance, esp. Georgette Heyer and Jane Austen (ask her for her faves!!)
• Writing romances, esp. m/m, f/f and other variations of queer relationships
• Re-watching Hannibal
• Cat and/or baby cuddling
• Thinking up outrageous story ideas and then plotting them
• Collecting pens & stationary
• Watercolor painting
• Eating everything and anything, but esp. cake.

Crystal’s first two m/m romance novels are currently being serialized on the curated serial fiction app Radish, with the first one slated for release on Amazon in July 2018. She has two short stories out on Kindle as well. She is also a writer for Voltage’s Lovestruck app.
